REACH Act (Reinforcing College Education on America's Constitutional Heritage Act), a mandate for SC public institutions of higher education. The "REACH Act", South Carolina Act 26 of 2021, requires all undergraduate students at public institutions of higher education to complete a three-credit course that requires, at minimum, the reading of the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Emancipation Proclamation, a minimum of five essays from the Federalist Papers, and one or more documents that are foundational to the African American Freedom struggle.
