Ms. Keisha Parris is the Director of Digital Library and Learning Commons at Clinton College located in Rock Hill, SC. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Augustine's University and a master’s degree in Library Science with a concentration in Academic Library from North Carolina Central University.
Prior to joining the Clinton College team, Ms. Parris served as the Educational Technology Librarian at Johnson C. Smith University for almost five years.
As the Director of Digital Library and Learning Commons, her primary focus is to ensure adequate resources and services are available in print and electronic format to support Clinton College’s curriculum, research and leisure information needs. Ms. Parris is also charged with facilitating quality library services online and in-person. Some of her duties include establishing and maintaining learning communities on campus and online and facilitating collaborative initiatives with academic and support units across campus that fosters best practices in teaching and learning.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, catching up on current events and television series, and the occasional adventure.

The Library Specialist assists the librarian in maintaining the library and providing requested support to patrons. This role performs a range of library activities including planning and facilitating programs, providing coverage at the service desk, and assisting with clerical and administrative duties for the library and staff. The Library Specialist uses independent judgment to apply guidelines to various situations and serves as a lead worker responsible for assigning and directing the work of student workers, volunteers, and interns.
